Accountant

We’re seeking a skilled Accountant to join a well-established firm in Manchester. This role is ideal for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for varied work in a supportive environment. You will be responsible for preparing financial accounts and supporting clients with tax and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies
• Assisting with tax computations & VAT returns
• Managing client relationships & advising on financial matters
• Reviewing bookkeeping & reconciling accounts
• Supporting senior team members with financial reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or part-qualified
• Strong experience in an accountancy practice or finance team
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
• Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently & manage deadlines
