Accounts Prep Senior

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Prep Senior to join a team in Birmingham! If you have experience in accounts preparation and a solid understanding of FRS 105, 102, and 102A, this is an exciting opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare client accounts in accordance with FRS 105, 102, and 102A standards
• Work closely with the bookkeeping department to ensure accurate financial records
• Liaise directly with clients, offering support and guidance on accounting matters
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Manage and prioritize multiple accounts preparation tasks to meet deadlines
• Assist with the preparation of tax computations and year-end adjustments

Qualifications & Skills:

• Preferably qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), but part-qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will be considered
• Right to work in the UK (Essential)
• Solid experience with FRS 105, 102, and 102A
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax compliance
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and the bookkeeping department
