Accounts Senior / Associate

Are you an experienced Accounts Senior or Associate looking to take the next step in your career?  Join a leading accountancy firm in Leicester and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end accounts for SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships
• Review work prepared by junior team members
• Assist clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, and liaise with HMRC
• Build lasting client relationships and provide day-to-day support
• Support managers and partners with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (QBE also considered)
• Strong background in practice-based accounts preparation
• Experience with cloud accounting platforms
• Excellent organisational & communication skills
• Proactive and confident working independently and as part of a team
• RTW in the UK is essential – no sponsorship provided
