Audit and Accounts Senior

A well-established accountancy firm in Chester is seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a dual-role position where you will handle both audit and accounts work, offering variety and the chance to work with clients across multiple industries. Responsibilities:

• Lead audits from planning to completion for a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards, including FRS 102.
• Manage and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and experience.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients, providing valuable advice and insights.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and promoting additional services.

Key Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or near qualification).
• Experience in both audit and accounts preparation within a practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting and audit standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively.
