Audit Semi-Senior / Adviser

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Blackburn, is looking for a motivated Audit Semi-Senior / Adviser to join their expanding audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA professional seeking the next step in their audit career within a supportive and progressive firm.

As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a broad portfolio of clients across various sectors. You will work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers, supporting in all stages of the audit process from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a variety of clients
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and relevant reporting standards
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and professional service
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative working environment
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing support

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available if required)
• 1–3 years’ experience in audit within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in accounting/audit software (experience with software such as CaseWare, Sage, Xero, or similar is a plus)
